Safety edge with wireless transmitters and a receiver XGuards Vertical XGuards can be used as a non-contact safety on sliding gate and has the potential to remove the requirement for safety edges and photocells, if the distance between the safety areas is less that 200mm. The area between the gate and fence line can be very difficult to make safe, particularly when both the gate and fence are open bars. By using a single curtain of the XGuard in this area, it is possible to detect a person’s arm passing into this space and bring the gate to a stop.

On sliding gates

Sliding Gate – XGuards mounted Fixed either side of the gate opening additional XGuard maybe required to cover the rear of the gate depending on size.
