The modules in the vandal resistant range are manufactured from brushed 2.5mm stainless steel. The electronics are secured to the front plate and are protected by a covering box which is sealed to the front fascia, all buttons are IP68 rated and manufacutered in stainless steel. TELGUARD OPTIMUS GSM UNIT Optimus is a range of GSM intercoms with 1-2 call buttons and with a backlit coded entry keypad.

A SIM card comes pre installed, all that is then required is the numbers relating to the call buttons to be programmed. Your home or mobile phone number is added to the auto dial memory, just like adding a number to your own mobile. When a visitor presses the number of your property on the intercom, a call is made to your phone. When you answer the call you can speak to your visitor and let them in by pressing #. Simple!
